What light could I possibly have to give? What wisdom could I possibly have to impart to others?
Questions I keep asking myself time and time again when thoughts fill my head at 3am and I’m prompted to write. I’m prompted to question. I’m prompted to dream. I’m prompted to wonder or worry. Where the “what ifs” fill the darkness. Then, as night turns to day and the hue of the morning begins to peek over the horizon, I’m reminded of the magnificence of light. How light is the only thing that can overcome darkness. That small sliver of dawn gives hope. The light of Christ in each of us, no matter how big or small, may be the unexpected hope that one needs. The light that gives them a sense of relief, joy or whatever it may be. Today is giving Tuesday, be a cheerful giver...monetary, time, gifts, talents, you choose...let your light shine!
Matthew 5:14-15 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.”
